There are many reasons to visit Barcelona: it is a culturally vibrant city, suitable for all ages and has unique artistic masterpieces in the world. Today I’ll show you what to see in Barcelona!
Today I want to show you what to see in Barcelona.
A cosmopolitan city with an ancient soul and a modern one, visiting Barcelona is really a pleasure.
Among my advices on what to see in Barcelona, here is the firs and most important: start the visit from the Barrio Gotico, the nucleus of Roman origins rich in narrow streets, evocative squares such as plaza Filippo Neri and as large as the Reial plaza.
It is also the neighborhood where the church of Santa Maria del Pi is located as the Cathedral in Gothic-Catalan style.
The barrio is close to the Rambla and you can choose whether to reach the harbour or if you reach Passeig de Gràcia.
On the shopping boulevard there are the fairytale Casa Batllò and Casa Milà by Antoni Gaudì.
Visiting Barcelona is also tiring and at this point enjoy a nice dinner at El Nacional, with 4 bars and 4 restaurants.
The next day continue to visit Barcelona through Gaudì, the leading exponent of Catalan modernism, going to the discovery of the Sagrada Familia and Parc Guell.
To admire the city from above, go to the Montjuic hill with the Olympic stadium, the National museum and the Poble Espanyol, a truly unmissable place.
Right at the foot of the Monjuic is the plaza d’Espagna fountain that with its water games, music and lights will excite you.
Visiting Barcelona at one time is not possible but if you still have some time I would recommend to pay a visit to the Picasso museum and from there drive up to Barceloneta, a wide beach with bars and lots of sports equipment.
When visiting Barcelona it is easy to come across the colorful food markets such as bouqueria that offers all kinds of delicacies.
I have another recommentation on what to see in Barcelona: stroll in the Raval barrio and take a picture of the giant cat created by Fernando Botero.
One last tapa, a look around this open-air museum and it’s time to go home.
Visiting Barcelona will be an experience you will not forget.
