Smart forfour…diventa erede della Classe A Mercedes.

A Torino ho incontrato di nuovo la Smart forfour, questa volta in una veste tutta particolare, strano a dirsi, ma sostituirà addirittura la  Classe A Mercedes. Vediamo come.

Nella splendida cornice di Torino, il sole accoglie l’erede della nuova Classe A di Mercedes. E’ proprio lei, la Smart forfour. Dopo una colazione nella caffetteria del Palazzo Reale, veniamo invitati alla mostra della pittrice Tamara De Lempicka. Vengo piacevolmente colpito dalle forme delle figure umane, dai dettagli e dall’utilizzo dei colori, in particolare il bianco. L’artista tra l’altro era già stata testimonial di Mercedes.
Dopo la visita raggiungiamo a piedi il Mercedes Benz Spot dove è stata allestita la sala per la conferenza stampa. Qui la novità viene svelata. La “piccola” Smart forfour sostituirà la Classe A Mercedes, un’auto che ha cambiato radicalmente la fisionomia del marchio tedesco. Apprezzatissima dalle donne, dopo alcuni problemi iniziali di stabilità, prontamente corretti dal costruttore, la vettura ha riscosso un grande successo di vendite proprio grazie al mondo femminile, che ne ha fatto una sua icona. Oggi Mercedes piuttosto che pensare ad un restylyng o addirittura a una nuova linea, decide di affidare il futuro di Classe A alla nuova forfour. Le due auto sembrano completamente diverse, ma l’apparenza inganna. Infatti le dimensioni sono molto simili e le prestazioni sono a netto vantaggio della forfour.Il motore ha una cilindrata inferiore ma ha consumi più bassi e di conseguenza anche le emissioni ambientali. Il nuovo motore da 90CV turbo promette prestazioni di tutto rispetto.  Lunga solo 3,49 metri, larga 1,66 e alta 1,55.  Le dimensioni interne della Smart, consentono il trasporto molto comodo di quattro persone, ideale quindi per la famiglia. Il  bagagliaio da 375 litri, che reclinando i sedili posteriori arriva fino a 975 litri e il motore posteriore basso la rendono ideale, per ogni tipo di trasporto, dal seggiolino del bambino, alla spesa settimanale. Le porte posteriori poi hanno un angolo di apertura a 90°. La vettura mantiene le nuove prestazioni della Smart, ovvero il raggio di sterzata record, che consente di fare manovre molto rapidamente. Il sistema di assistenza al vento laterale che mantiene stabile il veicolo anche in condizioni di raffiche laterali. Poi la cellula di sicurezza tridion, garantisce la giusta sicurezza per tutto l’abitacolo. Le versioni sono 5, la base youngster, la sport edition #1 (la più sportiva di sempre), la passion (la più amata dalla donne), la proxy e la prime (l’allestimento più sofisticato e innovativo). Gli allestimenti, gli interni e i colori sono quelli di Smart, quindi vivacità e doppia cromaticità saranno la caratteristica della Nuova Classe A. Cosa ne penseranno i clienti Mercedes di questa novità? Forse i più tradizionalisti della precedente Classe A potrebbero avere dei dubbi, esteticamente sono vetture molto diverse, ma credo che ancora una volta le donne saranno la scommessa vincente di Smart. Staremo a vedere.

by the manufacturer, the car has been a great sales success thanks to
women, which has made its own icon. Today Mercedes instead of thinking to a restylyng or even a new line, decided to entrust the future of the new Class A at the forfour. The two cars look completely different, but looks can be deceiving. In
fact, the dimensions are very similar and performance are distinct
advantage of forfour.The engine has a cylinder capacity but has lower
fuel consumption and, consequently, environmental emissions. The new engine from 90HP turbo promises respectable performance. Only 3.49 meters long, 1.66 wide and 1.55 high. The internal dimensions of Smart, allow the transportation  for four people, making it ideal for the family. The
luggage compartment of 375 liters, which reclining the seats arrive up to 975
liters and the back engine on the bottom, makes it ideal for all types of
transport, from the baby’s car seat to the weekly shopping. The rear doors  have an opening angle of 90 °. The car retains the new features of Smart, or the record turning radius, allowing you to maneuver very quickly. The assistance system of lateral wind that keeps the vehicle stable even in conditions of lateral gusts. Then the Tridion safety cell, guarantees the right security throughout the interior. The versions
are 5, the base youngster, the sports edition # 1 (the sportiest of all
time), the passion (the most beloved by women), the proxy and the first
(the interior more sophisticated and innovative). The interiors and the colors are those of Smart, so lively and
double chromaticity will be the feature of the New Class A. What will think the Mercedes customers of this news? Perhaps the traditionalists will have doubts, aesthetically are very different but I think that once again women will be the winning bet of Smart. We’ll see.Good road.

  20. Sinceramente a livello estetico preferisco la smart for two però ha alcuni problemi di scomodità notevoli. Sicuramente per le donne, che devono destreggiarsi tra commissioni, bambini etc una for four risulta più adeguata. Articolo molto interessante!
