Periscope…e diventiamo tutti storyteller!

Periscope è la nuova applicazione per smartphone che cambierà il nostro modo di stare su internet. Uscita sul mercato pochi giorni fa, già registra numeri da capogiro… scopriamo insieme di cosa si tratta!

Questa senza alcun dubbio è stata la settimana di Periscope.
E con Periscope di Meerkat.
Ma cosa sono Periscope e Meerkat?
Sono due applicazioni per smartphone che consentono di fare quello che gli anglofoni chiamano ‘mobile live streaming’.
Come possiamo tradurlo? Diciamo che sono due app che consentono di trasmettere in diretta quello che decidiamo di voler condividere della nostra vita.
Hanno funzionalità simili e si annunciano come la ennesima next big thing della rete.
Due applicazioni che stanno cambiando di nuovo il nostro modo di stare in rete.
Vediamole più da vicino e visto che hanno funzionalità simili ci concentriamo su Periscope.
Periscope è stata acquistata da Twitter (la piattaforma dai post in 140 caratteri usatissima soprattutto da chi fa informazione e che negli ultimi mesi è sempre più vicina al modello Facebook di cui è stata e resta il maggior concorrente su Internet) fin da prima che fosse disponibile per il pubblico.
Ci si iscrive direttamente col proprio account sulla piattaforma dell’uccellino cinguettante e immediatamente ci si trova proiettati in una sorta di blog in continuo aggiornamento e in cui, in perfetto stile Twitter, è possibile seguire (ed essere seguiti) i propri beniamini, i propri amici e tutti coloro in grado di incuriosirci con le loro trasmissioni.
Appena uscita, ha raccontato con gli occhi degli utenti il recentissimo incendio di New York, bruciando sul tempo i media tradizionali.
Ma torniamo a noi.
Ci siamo appena iscritti e dopo aver curiosato un po’ ci viene voglia di andare oltre.
Niente di più semplice: decidiamo di fare una passeggiata? Di visitare una mostra?
Bene, non dobbiamo far altro che cliccare il pulsantino che riproduce l’obiettico di una telecamera ed ecco che si apre il nostro piccolo occhio sul mondo.
Siamo pronti a trasmettere. Chi ci segue riceve una notifica della nostra prossima trasmissione e possiamo partire.
A noi spetta il compito di riprendere e di raccontare a voce ciò che stiamo vedendo.
A chi ci guarda il piacere di guardare e di commentare scrivendo (e noi vediamo i commenti scorrere sullo schermo mentre facciamo il nostro mestiere di storyteller in erba).
Che dire?
La rete è letteralmente impazzita. Milioni sono gli utenti e migliaia sono i video che ogni giorno vengono caricati.
Tantissimi gli occhi proiettati sul mondo. Tantissime le cose interessanti su cui soffermarsi.
Ricordatevi, se pensate di girare un capolavoro, di attivare la funziona di salvataggio video automatica sul vostro smartphone altrimenti tutto scomparirà, come nella televisione di una volta, poco dopo essere stato trasmesso, superato in pochi secondi dai video postati nel frattempo.

And with Periscope Meerkat.
But what are Periscopes and Meerkat?
Are two smartphone apps that let you do what English speakers call mobile live streaming.
How can we translate it? Let’s they have two apps that allow you to broadcast live what we decide to share of our life.
They have similar features and are announced as the next big thing of the network.
Two applications that are changing again the way we stay in the network.
Let’s look them more closely, can see that they have similar capabilities, now we focus on Periscope.
Periscope was acquired by Twitter (the platform of a Posts in 140 characters much used mainly by those who provide information and that in recent months is getting closer to the model of Facebook which has been and remains the major competitor on the Internet) since before it was available for the public.
You can enroll directly with your account on the platform of twitter and you are immediately thrown into a kind of blog, in perfect Twitter style, you can follow (and be refollowed) your heroes, friends and anyone who intrigues you with their broadcasts.
Just out, told us through the eyes of the users the recent fire in New York,  burning on the time the traditional media.
But back to us.
We just joined the app and after browse a bit we want to go further.
Nothing more simple: we decide to take a walk? Visit an exhibition?
Well, we have to do a click and the little button that reproduces the lens of a camera opens our eyes on our little world.
We are ready to transmit. Those who follow us are notified of our next program and we can start.
We have the responsibility to take back and tell at voice what we are seeing.
To those who look at us the pleasure of watching and commenting (and we see the comments scroll on the screen while we do our job of storyteller).
What can I say?
The network is literally crazy. Million of users and thousands are the videos that are uploaded every day.
Many eyes are projected on the world. Lots of interesting things on which to dwell.
Remember, if you plan to make a masterpiece, to activate the automatic video saving  on your smartphone or everything will disappear, as in the television of long time ago, shortly after being transmitted, passed in a few seconds from the video posted in the meantime.
