Among the roofs of Skiathos with a white lace maxidress. This is the view that can be enjoyed from the terrace of our house, Villa Lalio, located just above the old port and as accessible as a medieval fortress!
Good morning from Skiathos and from the terrace of Villa Lalio, the house we rented for the holidays. Today I present a white lace maxidress in perfect boho chic style which, as you know, is my favorite style.
You can buy it from the comfort of your home by clicking here and going to the dresses section. And with the code don15 you will get an additional 15% discount!
Here you will find, in addition to my white lace maxidress, many other clothes at more than acceptable prices!
Why a white lace maxidress? Doesn’t look make too much bride-ish?
The white color is obviously associated with weddings but in reality it is perfect for the summer as it reflects the sun’s rays.
As I explained to you in the post on how to dress in Skiathos, here it very very very hot even in the evening.
The white lace maxidress is perfectly suited to the sultry evenings on this beautiful Greek island.
It is very light, super comfortable and can be worn with either heels or flat sandals!
And of course I will choose the latter … now I’ll explain why!
Villa Lalio is located in the old part of the town of Skiathos
And by old I mean that the roads leading to Villa Lalio are better suited to being ridden on the back of a donkey (as in the film Mamma Mia which was partially filmed here)! Also because cars are forbidden to enter the center.
Unaware of the situation, I, the Husband and our son parked the car where it was indicated to us and with our suitcases we prepared to walk the 300 meters that separated us from the villa. By day and with 40 degrees ……
The route turned out to be more difficult than the Paris-Dakar one: not only could we not control our suitcases, which lived their own lives, but at some point we even risked tumbling down the lanes!
But in the end we were rewarded with a breathtaking view and a really beautiful villa.
In Skiathos it is better to give up shoes with heels
Perched on our hermitage at Villa Lalio, we ventured to walk the 100 meters that separate us from the old port, the nightlife area.
100 meters of slippery and steep steps, challenging even for a professional climber.
Having comfortable shoes is therefore mandatory if you want to spend the holidays in Skiathos, with good riddance of sandals with high heels that I brought here with me !!!!
