My interview for the fashion amy

Today on Don’t Call Me Fashion Blogger! 
I had the great opportunity of being interviewed by Amy of The Fahion Amy blog and I am really pleased to post the full interview because I think that Amy has placed a very smart interview. 
I highly recommend her blog, she is one of the most creative bloggers I have met!
Here is the link to the interview and please bear with me for some rude and frank answers, but this is my thought, exactly….

AMY-Before “Don’t call me fashion blogger!” your had another blog that was called “Selvaggia Style”, what prompted you to open the first, close it and relaunch the second one?

FRANCESCA-My job and my son’s birth made me give up Selvaggiastyle which was really an amusing hobby for me. I have started Don’t Call Me Fashion Blogger! because I was highly irritated by seeing bloggers getting dressed up, take pictures and then change themselves. The real fashion blogger is one of us who post her/his usual outfits.

AMY-Your passion for fashion is authentic and you daily pst what you pull out from your closet.
What is lost in the genuinity of fashion blogs today?

FRANCESCA-As I said before, many bloggers (but not all), are taking photos of pre-fabriicated outfits, I really go out with what I wear. Maybe I dress badly but I really dress like that!

AMY-Your looks are always perfectly reproducible and portable.
Do you like to see experimentation in other blogs?

FRANCESCA – Yes I do, but at this point they are no longer fashion blogs, they should be called artistic blogs. Fashion blogs must reflect real life outfits, conversely to what we see on the fashion magazines which most of the times are showing dreamy outfits that are not exportable to common life.

AMY-Your blog is always ranking as one of the most popular blogs, with many followers and comments, what makes you so popular in your opinion?

FRANCESCA – Good question, I don’t know ! Perhaps it could be due the fact that I am not shouting out my presumed popularity.
And perhaps the fact that I try to always respect everyone is another winning factor.

AMY-Tell me some tips that any blogger should follow to communicate on their blog

FRANCESCA – I think there is just one. be yourself and do not invent a character!

AMY-It seems a distant era when only a few could be considered experts in the fashion industry, do you think now there are too many?

FRANCESCA – After the last fashion show I saw I would say that there are too many. I’m not a fashion expert and I do not pretend to be that. 


AMY-last question: your dos and dont’s?

FRANCESCA – Do always be happy with what you wear
Don’t feel uncomfortable with an outfit, it means that it is the wrong one!

Ho avuto l’onore di essere intervistata da Amy di The Fahion Amy blog e ho deciso di pubblicare l’intervista completa perchè Amy ha saputo farmi delle domande davvero intelligenti e concrete.
Quello che ne esce è il mio pensiero e chiedo venia se sono stata così diretta nelle risposte ma tutto ciò che penso è anche racchiuso nel nome del mio blog.

AMY- Prima di “Don’t call me fashion blogger” il tuo primo blog si chiamava “Selvaggia Style”, cosa ti ha spinto ad aprire il primo, e poi a chiuderlo ed a rilanciare il secondo?
FRANCESCA -Il lavoro e la nascita di mio figlio mi hanno fatto rinunciare a Selvaggiastyle che era davvero uno spassoso passatempo per me. Ho riaperto Don’t Call Me Fashion Blogger! perchè ero fortemente irritata dal vedere bloggers che ad esempio si vestono, fanno le foto e si cambiano. La realtà è che il fashion blogger è uno di noi che si veste così normalmente. 
AMY- Colpisce di te la grande puntualità nel pubblicare i tuoi post, e questo mi piace perchè non aspetti di avere nuove cose nell’ armadio, o nuovi eventi o regali di cui fare mostra, ma la tua passione per la moda è autentica e quotidiana, 
cosa si è perso di questa autenticità nei blog di oggi?
FRANCESCA -Come dicevo prima molti, ma non tutti , si fanno le foto con un look ma non ci escono davvero, io sì. Magari mi vesto male ma mi vesto proprio così!!!
AMY- I tuoi look sono sempre perfettamente riproducibili e portabili, e si vede che che sono look quotidiani, 
ti piace vedere la sperimentazione in altri blog?
FRANCESCA – Non mi dispiace ma a questo punto non sono più fashion blog ma artistic blogs. Il blog di moda deve rappresentare la moda reale, in contrapposizione ai vari editoriali che si vedono sui giornali e che presentano look importabili per tutte le comuni mortali.
AMY-Figuri sempre in classifica come uno dei blog più seguiti, con tanti followers e commenti, cosa ti rende così popolare secondo te?
FRANCESCA – Bella domanda, non lo so nemmeno io! Forse il fatto che non me la tiro anche perchè non ho le basi per tirarmela….
E forse anche il fatto che cerco di rispettare sempre tutti.
AMY-Dimmi i tuoi ingredienti che qualsiasi blogger dovrebbe seguire a tuo parere per saper comunicare:
FRANCESCA – Secondo me ce ne è uno solo. essere se stessi e non inventarsi un personaggio!
AMY- Sembra lontana l’epoca in cui solo pochi potevano definirsi esperti nel settore moda, secondo te adesso ce ne sono troppi?
FRANCESCA – Dopo l’ultima sfilata che ho visto direi che ce ne sono troppi. Io non sono un esperta di moda e non mi spaccio per tale. Il noto fustigatore di look che compare spesso in tv per come era vestito direi che non è davvero un esperto di moda!!
AMY-ultima domanda : i tuoi sempre ed i tuoi mai?
FRANCESCA – Sempre: piacersi con quello che si indossa
Mai: sentirsi a disagio con un look, vuol dire che è quello sbagliato!

  14. Bella intervista. Trovo che le tue risposte siano coerenti con quanto scrivi abitualmente sul blog; la coerenza è una qualità (sempre più rara) che alla lunga paga in termini di immagine e di "affezione" da parte di chi ti segue. Ho apprezzato particolarmente il passaggio sui look (talvolta improponibili, aggiungo io) che vengono creati ad uso e consumo del blog per poi non essere indossati nella vita reale… è una moda abbastanza diffusa, un'abitudine che trovo stucchevole. Mi sono dilungato anche troppo…
