Madame Butterfly Couture Show.

Parigi. Primavera/Estate 2007.  All’inizio della “giappomania” John Galliano sorprende ancora. Sbalordisce. Lascia senza fiato. Stavolta rivisitando Madame Butterfly, la giovanissima geisha Chōchō-san che alla fine di una lunga pena d’amore si suiciderà conficcandosi un coltello nel cuore in pieno rispetto della tradizione locale.

John Galliano è il solito stravagante incantevole genio. Teatrale e barocco. Non a caso infatti è lo stilista preferito da Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman e Kate Moss.

Sfarzo. Chilometri di organza attraverso la cui trasparenza si intravede l’anima punk del dio John. Atmosfera onirica. Origami nelle pieghe degli abiti e aghi nei capelli. L’allestimento in stile giapponese surrealista strizza l’occhio a Sakura, la fioritura del ciliegio, splendida metafora degli eventi della vita, sempre unici. Le enormi sedie Luigi XVI sono le riproduzioni fedeli di quelle della Maison.

Chōchō-san who at the end of a long sentence of love committed suicide sticking herself a knife in her heart, in keeping with the local tradition. John galliano is the habitual extravagant enchanting genius. Histrionic and baroque. This is why he is the favorite fashion designer of  Charlize Theron, Nikole Kidman and Kate Moss.

Ostentation. Kilometers of organza thought  whose transparency glimpses out the punk soul of John, the God.
Dreamlike atmosphere. Origami in the folds of the dresses and needles in the hair. The staging in Japanese surrealist style winks at Sakura, blooming cherry, wonderful metaphor of always unique events in life. The enormous Louis XVI chairs are faithful reproduction of those in the Maison.
