Alla disperata ricerca dell’ecopelliccia bianca (che sia per me la pelliccia sia rigorosamente ecologica credo che sia perfino inutile sottolinearlo…). Così è come ho trascorso le mie vacanze natalize.

Ecopelliccia bianca dove sei?

Sembra assurdo, eppure in tanti anni che sono di moda, io non sono mai riuscita a trovare la pelliccia ecologica che davvero mi rapisse il cuore.  Se il colore era proprio quello desiderato, il modello mi ingoffava al punto di farmi sembrare l’omino della Michelin. Se il taglio era giusto, magari era sprovvisto di chiusura (cosa che, trattandosi di un capo invernale, trovo decisamente assurdo). E poi le lunghezze, i volumi, cappuccio sì o cappuccio no…insomma è stata davvero un’impresa trovare quello che si può definire la “mia” ecopelliccia bianca.

Ma quest’anno grazie alla Befana posso finalmente dire che “habemus ecopellicciottum”!!  Di un delizioso color panna leggermente tendente al rosa,  dalla lunghezza perfetta, senza cappucci ingoffanti, con tanto di stache e bottoni! Praticamente la perfezione… ed ora che ho trovato la mia ecopelliccia bianca, con la sfiga che mi ritrovo, molto probabilmente dal prossimo inverno non si useranno più…

Desperately seeking for a white faux fur jacket, this is how I spent my XMas holidays.

I know it sounds weird, yet over the past years, I have never been able to find the right faux fur jacket. If the color was just what I wanted, then the model was wrong. If the cut was right, maybe it didn’t have buttons (which in wintertime it is pretty absurd). And then there were lenghts, volumes, hood or no hood issues to take imto account.

But this year thanks to the Epiphany I can finally say that “Habemus papam” !! A lovely cream-colored slightly pinkish faux fur jacket with the perfect length, complete with buttons! Pretty much perfection … and now that I found it, with my bad luck it is most likely that next winter faux fur jackets will be not longer trendy …
