High and Low!

One of the things that I often do is to mix high & low cost pieces.
This time, I decided to wear my new Zara burgundy dress together with a black faux fur coat (from Zara too), the Versace for H&M collar and an H&M boho hat .
I completed the outfit with the Dior Karenina Bag and the Christian Louboutin Figurina Booties.
Pictures were taken in 2 different rounds due to the rain that was falling down quite hard on my hat!
What do you think? Do you mix cheap and expensive clothes?




Una delle cose che faccio spesso è quello di mescolare capi costosi con quelli più economici (per modo di dire, Zara costa eccome!).
Questa volta, ho deciso di indossare il mio nuovo  vestito bordeaux di Zara con un cappotto nero di eco-pelliccia (anche questo di Zara), il collare di Versace per H & M e un cappello H & M in stile  boho.
Ho completato il look con la  Karenina di Dior e gli stivaletti Figurina di Christian Louboutin.
Le foto sono state scattate in due riprese a causa della pioggia battente che rischiava di affogare il fotografo....
Che ne pensate? Anche voi mischiate il sacro ed il profano?

  7. Che bella che sei!!! Stai troppo bene con gli abitini! Anche le calze sono mooooooolto belle. Anche a me piace mischiare low and high, non mi piace creare un outfit tutto logato e di solito (proprio come te) punto molto sugli accessori un pochino più costosi.
    Comuque con la Karenina mi ci devi far fare un giro cara!

  24. Io purtroppo abbino capi low cost con capi low cost ;-), e poi hai ragione tu Zara una volta era più economico, ora ha alzato molto i prezzi! Per quanto riguarda l'outfit mi piace, ma avrei solo messo un paio di calze molto spesse, sempre nere!!!

  51. io tendo a vestire più "low" che "hight" e i pochi pezzi di grandi griffes che possiedo rimangono a muffire nell'armadio perché li tiro fuori solo nelle grandi occasioni (e a volte neanche!) :D

The purple dress is the perfect lift to the black - i do like to mix though i am not as successful on the high street but i always think mixing is the key to a successful outfit, whether it be high street, designer, vintage or different designers - although sometimes i think i could go Lanvin head to toe every day - and then i would just mix seasons!!   70. Io mixo spesso capi low cost con altri più costosi, è più divertente e...pratico ;) Tu hai sempre cose bellissime ! Stai benissimo con questo outfit, adoro le scarpe, belle le calze e il vestito...il cappello lo stavo per comprare anche io ma mi andava largo nel senso che la tesa scendeva troppo sugli occhi dandomi fastidio, credo anche a te copra un po' troppo il viso ma stai molto bene comunque ! :-).     Io ho smesso di comprare cose sacre e cose profane da quando ho il mio brand... Indosso quasi tutto della mia linea e qualche volta aprofitto delle nostre sartorie per farmi fare capi unici per me o capi che vanno in produzione per un altro marchio (perche dovete sapere che dalla stessa sartoria si servono piu brand...)
    Raramente acquisto qualcosa perche' ho tutto... Infatti lo shopping per me e' comprare articoli di elettronica (cellulari, iPad ecc) oppure comprare regali per gli uomini della mia vita.. Ih ih ih visto che noi facciamo solo cose per donne :)
